Abstract: Aspergillosis usually occurs as an acute fatal respiratory disease of young birds characterised by the presence of miliary nodules in the lungs, and fungal growth on the airsacs. If the spore penetrate the ethmoid region a nervous condition results. Can be a problem in zoological garden collections, e.g. penguins.
