Abstract: A case of primary intraosseous fibrosarcoma of the left femur in a cat was diagnosed at necropsy following 9 months of managing a fracture of the same bone. Case features were those of probable pathological fracture, fracture repair and ultimate lysis of all but a fragment of the distal femoral epiphysis. Histology revealed closely packed whorls of fibroblasts typical of fibrosarcoma. This neoplasm is rare in the cat.
