Abstract: The recent letter in the Veterinary Journal by Brian Cooper and Bruce Farquharson highlighted the difficulty and changes in adding minerals to drenches. We have been aware for some years of this problem which originally prompted the development of Levicare Hi-Mineral as a complete formulation. As part of this development we examined potential settling or layering of the product by using a metre long pipette from which samples were taken over an extended period. These studies demonstrated there was no variation in mineral or levamisole between levels or over time
