Abstract: I should like to record our results with a product quite new on the market which, after an initial problem with the wrong glue being supplied, has proved most successful in this practice. As an alternative to digital amputation in the severely lame cow we have found “Hoof Blocks”, which are purchased as a kit, to provide a very cheap, convenient and effective cure.
