Abstract: With the increased common usage of the drug cannabis by the general populace, accidental ingestion of the drug by domestic animals should perhaps now be considered in the differential diagnosis of animals presenting neurological symptoms. On returning home from a day out, the owners found their 2-year-old male Irish Setter reluctant to greet them in the usual manner. The dog got up only with difficulty, moved unsteadily and with into-ordination of the hind legs
