Abstract: I refer to my conference paper “Some anaemias of farm livestock” published in this journal (N.Z. vet. J. 25: 308-9). In Table II the properties for plasma colour should be reversed; the discolouration with Hb and/or Bilirubin occurs in haemolytic anaemias and not haemorrhagic anaemias.
