Abstract: Over recent years we have become aware that cattle are sensitive to nutritional imbalances and may respond by exhibiting infertility. The effects on the reproductive performance of cattle caused by grazing pastures that do not provide sufficient nutrients to meet the requirements for maintenance, growth, pregnancy and lactation are considered.
