Abstract: An article Periodontal Disease in Sheep. II. The Composition of Sera from Sheep with Periodontosis by Cutress, T. W., Suckling, Grace W., Healy, W. B., Mattingly, J., and Aitken, W. M., has recently been published in the Journal of Periodontology. As early loss of incisor teeth of sheep is common in a number of districts in New Zealand, a summary of this paper might be of interest. In this study the composition of sera and the dental characteristics of sheep with endemic periodontal disease were compared over a period of one year with those of sheep with healthy periodontiums
