Abstract: In a letter to the editor (see N.Z. Veterinary journal, “Chronic Granular Rhinitis (Nasal Catarrh) of Cattle”, March 1972) Mr Gallagher rightfully points out the common occurrence and importance of this disease in New Zealand dairy herds. However, there are some points with which we would disagree and we would also like to report a preliminary investigation into this condition.
