Abstract: An earlier study of the geographic distribution of carcinomas of the small intestine of sheep in New Zealand (Simpson, 1972) showed that there was an uneven distribution within the sheep population and suggested that environmental or managerial factors might be influencing the prevalence of these neoplasms. The present investigation was undertaken to investigate the possible correlation between prevalence of carcinomas of the small intestine and a wide range of environmental and managerial factors.
