Abstract: Veterinary examination of breeding bulls is primarily concerned with minimising the risk of subfertility through the detection and elimination of subfertile animals. Outside the narrow remit of the breeding soundness examination, there is a significant role for the veterinarian in preventative medicine and husbandry of bulls.
